About Asia Karsa Indah

Asia Karsa Indah (AKI) is an Indonesian private company founded in 1982. The company was involved in freight forwarding business until 1991. In 1992 AKI formed a joint venture with Federal Lisbert Automation System Asia Pte Ltd.,Singapore. Since then AKI start doing business in production automation systems, SCADA, Telecommunication and various control system for oil and gas industry. Since 1992 AKI has involved in several project in China, Thailand, Brunei and a lot more.

Our focus is to provide support to the government and private industrial sector with various high-tech infrastructure and application requirement by developing the capabilities of our manpower resource to serve the nation.

In 1997 AKI was awarded 2 pipeline SCADA projects funded by the World Bank (IBRD). AKI was the lowest international bidder for both these projects.

From our humble beginning in 1992 when AKI was just involved in the oil and gas industry, AKI have provided SCADA systems to the national electric utilities company and the East Java Gas Pipeline. In recent years we have also developed several new alliances to provide an energy power quality system, IT solution to gas pipeline operators and management information system (MIS).

It is AKI intention to support both the field operation groups and the management groups with systems that would benefit the intent of both these groups. To achieve success AKI has over the last 3 years developed a team of IT specialists to upgrade system for Pertamina and the oil companies.
